Game: Jiangsu Suning v. Shanghai Shenhua (Chinese Super League)
Pick: Over 2.5 Goals
Odds: 1.75
Don’t get fooled by the four games that have been played so far in the league, because these two teams absolutely know how to score goals. So both teams have started this season with 2/4 games going over 2.5 goals. But last season, these two ended up in second and third place for highest goal average in the whole league. Last season these were solid moneymakers with overs and I think the odds of 1.75 is way too high for over 2.5 goals here. It has probably been priced that way due to the lackluster start.
Last year Shanghai Shenhua played over 2.5 goals in 24/30 games and Jiangsu did it in 21/30 games. Alex Texeira and Eder are set to start for Jiangsu, that alone should mean a couple of goals. Obafemi Martins and El-Shaarawy are also expected to start for Shanghai. There is not much else to say here, based on last season's stats, this price is waaaaaay too high and it is too good not to bet on.
